Youngang (Italy)
Il Santo
Youngang are a 5 piece Oi! band from Turin,
Italy. They have been around since 1994 and ‘Il Santo is their first
full length CD. Previously they have released 2 7". For more info go

This
album verges on the more heavy rock type of Oi! with all lyrics sung in
Italian. Which takes a bit to get used to. But once you do, you don't
notice it so much. Well you do of course, but you tend to focus more on
the music as opposed to the lyrics, which you tend to do when you are
listening to English music. Well I tend to anyways.
All up a good
release from Youngang. They also have a really nice looking website,
and you can have a listen to them on the ‘produzioni' page.
So if
you are into the more 90's style of Oi/streetpunk then you will enjoy
this one. Australians don't seem to get into music with lyrics in other
languages too much, which is a shame cause there is heaps of good stuff
out there!
