The Skinflicks Steel-Toe-Anthems

Hailing from somewhere in Luxembourg, The
Skinflicks play anthemic Oi! in the early British style. Simple and in
your face, if you are an oi! fan you should really try and track down
some music from these guys. With songs such as ‘stick yer disco up yer
arse!' and ‘smash the love parade',it's easy to tell they are skinheads
thru and thru. This Ep is all about having a good time, drinking, hippy
hating and thankfully nothing political! The closest to political any
lyric goes, is in the track ‘skinhead',which is'...bash the rash until
the job is done...', these guys rock! They hate red's just as much as
nazi's. That's what we like to see. You can find their latest releases through Blind Beggar records at the website (www.oirecords.com).
Other than that I'm not too sure where you will find it in Australia.
If you also enjoy good ska, Patrick Skinflick (bass) also plays in a
band called ‘Toxkapp', and although they don't sing in English, so you
can't understand a damn word, it is a bloody good band. So keep your
eyes out, or email Blind Beggar about it. Nothing else to say except check this band out. |
