Best of Retch Records

Step-1 Music
New release from Step-1 Music this 17 track compilation features well
known bands such as Varukers, Blitz, Contempt, Sanity Assasins, English
Dogs as well as few more maybe not so well known bands like
McGillicuddys, Cult Maniax and Scrumfeeder. Mainly 80's British Punk,
although there are a few new and American tracks chucked in there
aswell. My favourites have to be ‘43 Revolutions' by Blitz and
‘Selfish Society' from Contempt. Not too sure on the McGuillicudys
track ‘Leaving of Liverpool' though, it is kinda a Pogues/Dropkick
Murphys sound, but doesnt seem to quite pull it off. The rest of the 16
songskick ass though.
This ones for the punk fans, especially those
who followed Retch Records and enjoy their punk how it should be
played. Great detailed lineir notes about the history of Retch Records
As well as brief histories of all the bands featured. Another fine
release from Step-1 Music.
