The Kick Off
Nordic Records
Released back in 2001, this is a great debut album from these 5 Dutch
Skinheads. 'Traditonal' Oi! along the lines of Condemned 84 sound,
which seems to get better each time you listen to it. 'Skinhead Anthem'
was the first track to really catch my attention. Pretty simple song,
yet catchy and anthemic, as the title implies. I was a bit dubious when
I noticed a track called 'Journey to Valhalla', I just don't really get
the viking references. But don't let it put you off, there is a slight
RAC edge in there, but no racial slurring, so don't get on your high
horses. 'Ain't '69' anymore' is another great track, bout time someone
said it. All together a really great release, and like I said earlier
it gets better each listen. Not sure if there are any more releases
from these guys, but it might just be something I will be looking into. http://www.nordisc-records.com
