Headcase (Belgium)
Ammunition
Pure Impact records

Fantastic release from these Belgium boys. I can't actually say there
is one track which I don't like. This is the perfect example of how an
album should be put together. Topics range from wayward teenagers in
Who's To Blame to the more political/non-political ‘Sitting on a
Fence'.Music is simple Oi!/Streetpunk with great vocals from vocalist
Nick. A really catchy album where you will most likely be loving it
from the first listen. One of my favourite tracks is Willy Wonka, which
is one of those songs you find humming to yourself all day. On a more
slower note, well compared to the rest of the album, is Monday Morning,
basically about the weekends which always end with getting up for work
on a Monday morning. There is even a 4-Skins cover of Evil, which would
have to be one of the best covers a band a has done. Majority of bands
don't do covers justice, where as Headcase play it flawlessly. As usual
from Pure Impact releases the artwork is grouse, and all the lyrics are
in the sleeve. There is also a little bio in the front about the band.
To find out more about the band you can visit their website at http://users.pandora.be/DenizenHeadcase/10HeadcaseHome.html which is kinda a long and irritatinf address, so alternatively you can find it in the links section on the aussieskins site. |
