Beerzone
Against the Flow
Beer City Records

Brand new one from Scottish boys Beerzone This is different to other releases you will have heard from this band. Best described as a bit more angry, a bit more serious, but definitly the relentless Beerzone sound which we all love. ‘Life's Too Short', is probably the track I am liking the most at this stage of my listening. With the theme of being to stop fucking whinging and get out there and enjoy life, this is one that you feel was written by someone thinking along your lines. ‘Web of Lies' is another which catches the times we live in. All about the bullshit which people spin on the internet, and end up getting caught out about it. Great bloody stuff! Although lyrics wise there is still that same humour of previous Beerzone, there are probably a few more serious, cynical tracks in there, and the music is definitly more aggro and in ya face. I like it...I like it a lot. Nothing better than a great band putting out an album with a difference, but still keeping their brilliance. At first listen I wasn't sure, but now I am...Rock on guys... Out now
