Put out by Snapshot Records and Cutthroat Records, "beer and Bile' is an awesome compilation for all you Oi! and streetpunk fans.
A great selection of Australian bands such as Stanley Knife, AVO, Bedlam Beggars, The Blurters, Bulldog Spirit and more. There are also tracks from The Business, Adolf and the Piss Artists, The Accidents, and Blisterhead. A nice mix of local and international bands roughly grouped into the ‘strretpunk' catagory. There's a bit of hardcore, Oi! and punk in there, as well as a few trakcs from Bedlam Beggars who kinda cross over to the ska side a bit. Really nice artwork aswell as all the contact details of the bands featured.
A must get, especially for those of you overseas who want to get a good taste of what Aussies can produce.
I ahve no favourites on this album. But Bulldog Spirit, Stanly Knife and AVO are probably amongst the best on here. But then again you can never go past The Blurters, Bedlam Beggars and The Business.
