Sparrer are back with a brand new one for all the Punks and Skinheads. I can safely say that I didn't expect this to be very good as some "reunion" albums I've heard have just not been up to snuff in my humble opinion....how wrong I was with Cock Sparrer! Despite their age these melodic Oi!-Punk masters picked up right where they left off musically. All the songs have something to say and a catchy melody to leave you feeling satisfied. Song topics vary from economic realities in the smash hit opening track 'Too Late'; to long lost loves in 'Did you have a nice life without me?'; to the original punk movement in 'Spirit of '76', which has many references to The Clash and that is always cool; all the way to 'Sussed', a harder sounding tune about people who shouldn't open their mouths due to a constant flow of horse shit. The last tune titled 'Suicide Girls' is alittle cheesy but hey, SGs are hot as hell and the song has a good melody (did I say that again) so I can deal, haha. 14 tracks of Cock Sparrer goodness. This one is definitely in my top 10. 5/5 -SCN www.cocksparrer.co.uk - myspace.com/cocksparrerpunk
