ABOUT THE BAND:

Beerzone formed in 1997 by former Intensive Care vocalist Iain Kilgallon. The band play catchy sing-along street punk and have been described as a nice mix of Peter and the Test Tube Babies meets The Exploited. The band have released 3 full length studio recordings ( on Beer City, TKO & Cyclone ), 2 Live records ( Captain Oi! & 77 rpm ), several 7" singles, and a recent appearance on "Addicted To Oi!", another fine release from the lads at Captain Oi! The band have played all over Europe, as well as touring the states 10 times in the past 8 years, including a 5 week tour alongside the Dropkick Murphy's. Other notable, if not infamous supporting tours include those with The Business, Fear, and UK Subs. The band have also performed at damn near every Holidays in The Sun Festival that has ever been put on in both England, and those in the states. Other bands that Beerzone have played shows with include Stiff Little Fingers, The Damned, Bad Manners, Cock Sparrer, Cockney Rejects, Suicidal Tendencies, The Exploited, Suicidal Tendencies, Anti Flag, The Misfits and Agnostic Front.

Most recently in September 2006 they played the 'Wasted Festival' at the Esplanade Hotel in St Kilda, Melbourne. Where hundreds of people turned out to see them play alongside Peter and the Test Tube Babies as well as an impressive line-up of local Australian bands.

They are now returning between November 15th and 24th this year to do a tour of the East Coast. Playing shows in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Geelong and Melbourne. They will be supported by a range of local Aussie bands including RUST, Mouthguard, Plan of Attack, Sin City, Charter 77, Bulldog Spirit and Marching Orders.
