Captain Oi!
The Motors? Crap name aside, from the jangly guitars at the start of the
first track “Dancing The Night Away” I liked this album. It has catchy as
fuck songs that get stuck in the your head. For some reason I feel like I
have heard the songs on this album somewhere before. I don’t think I have,
the Motors just have that classic feeling about them. It kinda reminds me of
seeing my parents dancing around at family booze-ups, and that rules in my
books! The style is similar to something like the catchy pub-rock sounds of
Eddie & the Hot Rods with a dash of Cheap Trick or something like that
thrown in. Sound like something your Mum would love? You’re probably right
but fuck it, this album is great!
