The Fallout is a Canadian 3 piece punk band originating from Toronto Canada. If you like North American style punk then this may appeal to you. Their new album released through " Longshot Music " is fast paced and catchy, almost like an Canadian version of early Clash music, or a heavy version of Green Day, or even 1977 punk versus skate music. Apart from the 3 piece riffs and fast drumming they do some interesting things on " The Rules " by having harmonica in the song, and " Nancy never knew " does some interesting things with keyboards and punk guitar riffs. Theres a bit of social commentary on there, but, mostly about stuff like raising the minimum wage etc. If you are looking for something different in early Punk style music, and would even like a heavier version of the Ramones, then this would be worth the effort. Those who prefer traditional type oi, probrably wouldn't go for this album though.
