 Bakers Dozen
The Storm of Discontent
Pure Impact / Blind Beggar Records
2005
Since I heard late last year that Bakers Dozen were recording a new album, I have been anxiously awaiting it's release. And now it is here I am well impressed and have decided that it was worth the wait.

Bakers Dozen certainly have done themselves justice with this 13 track gem. There is no mistaking this as Bakers Dozen. They still have that same great sound as in their previous album 'Divided From the Masses' Although this release doesn't seem as hard in comparison.

Bakers Dozen don't just write a heap of different songs that, at the end of the day, are all about getting pissed and fighting. This album has tracks about the current state of British oi!, females that fall into relationships with arseholes, terrorism, general evilness and junkies and the dole. And probably one of my favourite tracks on the album 'Loyalty Confirmed' which is pretty much a self explanitory title really.

All up I really like this new album. So I do recommend you check it out.
