Well, believe it or not here’s a new album from the Last Resort featuring Millwall Roi and some ex Anti Nowhere League members. It’s was meant to be an EP but they decided to redo some old Last Resort and 4Skins songs plus two American hardcore covers; Skinhead Girl Warrior by Warzone and Gotta Getaway by Agnostic Front. The four new songs: Right to Riot; Bolthole; No Lazy Sunday Afternoon and Fear no Foe are all excellent tracks that sound very late 70s early 80s but with a more modern production. The next 4 tracks are all reworking of classics: ACAB; Violence in Our Minds; Rebels with a Cause and Held Hostage. This is the fist time these versions have appeared anywhere and I reckon are worth the price of the album themselves. The new version of Violence in Our Minds is awesome as is Rebels with a Cause. I usually find that I’m disappointed when bands redo classics but this time I was really stoked. The last five tracks have all appeared on various Captain Oi! And I-Scream compilations but it’s good to have them all in one place. All in all a top release well worth your hard earned dollars ***
