Badlands started as a project of singer/songwriter Viktor
Nefkens in the spring of 2001... 3 years later Badlands is releasing
their 3rd full-lenght album... Everything they did so-far was received
with loads of extremely positive critics. The things that people praise
the most about Badlands are the outstanding vocals and the extremely
melodic chorusses and guitar parts... This one is no different, except
for the fact that Badlands choose to put more diversity in this
record... You will find some hard-hiting oi! tracks like "Gunman" and
"Violence against violence", besides some beatifull ballads with "true
to the heart" lyrics like "My song"...
It's "hard to believe" but Viktor's vocal parts have improved again, on
this record he shows he is in full-contol of his voice... The live and
studio experiences of the last three years combined with the
neverending drive to create perfect rocking and melodic streetpunk has
resulted in a masterpiece... Badlands - the killing kind!
